anybody else find DA's cat propaganda utterly annoying?

So, I've been using a buddy's Sony A350 in addition to my crappy old Canon 6.4 MP Digital rebel, and I must say that I am really enjoying the Sony. It's very nice being able to shoot almost as soon as the camera is turned on, the colors are truer, it writes to the CF card about 100 times faster, and so on and so forth. I am currently looking to purchase a new camera, and am debating between the Nikon D7000 and the Sony A77. Anybody have any feedback on either of these cameras?
